Thérèse Malbrook, Silhouette’s last native

Silhouette’s last native, Thérèse Malbrook, is no more. Considered as Silhouette’s iconic figure, Mrs Malbrook, affectionately known as Marthe or ‘Bar’, passed away on May 1, carrying with her a rich history of Seychelles’ third largest island, renowned for having the second highest mountain in Seychelles in Mont Dauban and large fruit bats, among many other interesting tales.
