Commencement of the Bar Vocational Course |14 February 2024

The judiciary of Seychelles has announced that the Bar Vocational Course for 2024 will commence on April 11, 2024.

In a press release issued yesterday, the judiciary of Seychelles said the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) is designed to give law graduates who are desirous of becoming attorneys-at-law the necessary foundation in the Seychelles legal system and laws to prepare them to sit the bar examination for admission of attorneys-at-law.

Law graduates interested in registering for the BVC are to fill and submit their application forms along with the required documents.

The forms can be downloaded from the judiciary's website:  www.judiciary.sc

The deadline for submission of the application forms is Mach 26, 2024 and submission may be done in person to the registrar's office, Palais de Justice, Ile du Port, or via email at: registrar@judiciary.gov.sc

Enquiries regarding registration and course fees (including the student loan scheme instituted for those who may wish to avail themselves) may be directed to the registrar of the Supreme Court as stated above.
