‘Elite Seychelles’ is back after four years

After a four-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Elite Seychelles magazine, the tourist guide Seychelles for You in six languages is back with its 2024 edition.

Speaking to Seychelles NATION, the editor, Lucia Ciunfrini, said publication had to be halted as the increase in lock downs and restrictions from the pandemic caused a lack in tourist development, which made it difficult to cover news during that period.

She said after four years of pandemic, a lot has changed in the world but the tourism sector is once again picking up.

“Especially in Seychelles, a destination where the environment is a priority and the balance between nature and development is properly kept. Once again this is the message we are glad to pass to our readers,” said Mrs Ciunfrini.

The glossy updated guidebook 2024, is a practical tool containing all the essential information for a quick and easy consultation about Seychelles.

The magazine, which is shared with international tourism organisations, travel agencies, and professionals working on the Seychelles’ destination, showcases a myriad of pictures, which Mrs Ciunfrini said “speak hundreds of words”, articles of different scopes, and figures of local tourist businesses, among others.

The official presentation of the publication was at the World Travel Market (WTM) London, currently the most prominent tourism display in the world.

The magazine is published by JollyPress owned by editor Lucia Ciunfrini and her husband Riccardo Roccardi who is the art director and photographer.
