CWS launches unlimited value for mobile data customers |02 September 2023
Cable & Wireless Seychelles has announced the release of a brand-new unlimited product for its mobile postpaid customers.
“These new plans will be available for customers with 5G compatible mobile devices to enjoy unrivalled high speeds when connected to the 5G network, with the unlimited experience also being available on the super-fast 4G+ network in locations without 5G coverage,” informed the local telecom company. This offer takes effect as of September 1, 2023.
In June 2020, Cable & Wireless Seychelles became the first and only telco provider to roll out the much-anticipated 5G network across the islands of Seychelles. With the exponential increase in 5G enabled smart phones in Seychelles, Cable & Wireless Seychelles has catered to this market by offering a new line of unlimited mobile packages.
They each include a bundle of unlimited data, local calls, and local SMS with monthly validity. The packages are the 5G unlimited 995, priced at R995 with 5GB daily FUP; 5G unlimited 1295, priced at R1295 with 10GB daily FUP; and 5G unlimited 1595, priced at R1595 with 15GB daily FUP.
The daily fair usage policy (FUP) is imposed on each package to ensure that customers can enjoy an objective and seamless data experience. If the daily FUP is reached, customers’ browsing speeds will be reduced, and after midnight the full 5G speed will be restored.
The telco provider hopes this new offer will give customers more ways to experience 5G as they will now have more flexibility to enjoy and maximise the only 5G network in Seychelles.
