Paradise FM’s chart attack:   |21 August 2023

Ruben and Daniel remain top for second week with Doub Konsyans

For the second consecutive week Ruben and Daniel are at the top of the Paradise FM Chart Attack, after having knocked Phillippe Toussaint off the top spot.

Their hit Doub Konsyans made it to top spot two weeks ago and remained there last week, after it was voted to the charts a mere three weeks ago.

The duo is followed in second spot by Toussaint’s Lagratel, which has featured on the charts for a whopping 26 weeks.

Despite a number of changes to the chart this week, Je T’aime by SS Gang featuring Daniel managed to secure the same position as it did the previous week, in third spot.

Four songs have climbed up the ladder, namely, Premye Randevou by Humble Man and Lester which is now in fourth spot as compared to seventh position the previous week, as well as gospel song Nouvo Kreasyon by Debra Jeannevol, which climbed up a notch to fifth spot.

Fans have voted Auspicious and Elijah’s Woman into sixth position, in its 17th week on the charts. Woman was at number eight the previous week. As was the case the previous week, Zwer Ser is trailing just behind Woman, but is this time at number seven, instead of ninth position.

Riah’s Zanmi Leker which made it to number one spot for two weeks now sits at number eight, having slid down from where it was the previous week, at number five.  Similarly, Grav Serye by father and son Ion Kid and Shakeal was also knocked off the top end of the charts last week, sliding into ninth spot, from fourth the previous week.

Mon Promes by Romel last week found its way back, and is currently tenth on the charts.

The Chart Attack is sponsored by Inter Island Boats Ltd and listeners can vote for their favourite song throughout the week on Paradise FM by calling telephone number 2520170, placing ‘CHT’ before their text messages.

Listeners can vote during the following times: Tripotaz (10am – 11am), En pti pe dan tou – (2pm – 3pm) and The Cruize – (4.45pm – 6pm).
