Travizory brightens up Children’s Day with donation to Paediatric Ward at Seychelles Hospital   |02 June 2023

Travizory staff marked Children’s Day with a donation to the Paediatric Ward at the Seychelles Hospital. The donation, which included educational toys, board games, cutlery sets, plates, cups, and bowls, aims to bring joy, education and improved dining experiences to young patients during their stay at the ward.

This project was spearheaded by members of the Travizory Seychelles team, with generous donations from local staff members.

To reflect its commitment to the cause, Travizory matched the funds contributed by its staff, highlighting the dedication of the entire company to making a positive impact in the local community.

Recognising the importance of providing quality healthcare and a nurturing environment to young patients, the team at Travizory chose to support the Paediatric Ward, believing that every child deserves access to a positive and nurturing environment, especially during challenging times.

Davis Andre, Travizory Seychelles’ project manager, said, “at Travizory, we place great importance on engaging in activities that support various groups within the country. This involvement not only strengthens our connection with the community but also cultivates empathy within our organisation. By working together as a team towards a shared goal, we enhance our ability to make a meaningful and positive impact”.

Through their donation on Children’s Day, Travizory staff hope to bring smiles to the young patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

The Travizory team would like to express its gratitude to the Paediatric Ward staff and management for their dedication and exceptional care provided to the young patients.

Their commitment to the well-being and recovery of these children is truly commendable.

Cultina Marcel, monitoring and quality control officer, Travizory Seychelles, said, “I am thrilled that Travizory willingly takes on meaningful projects, like this one for Children’s Day, without hesitation. This act of kindness truly represents the teamwork and spirit within our organisation. As a Seychellois employee of Travizory, I am proud of our collective efforts to benefit sick children.
