Seychelles attends Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona |26 April 2023

The largest-ever Seafood Expo Global opened yesterday and will be open for the next two days at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via exhibition grounds, which will be the epicentre of business in the seafood industry, gathering exhibitors from every corner of the globe. 

The 2023 edition features new country pavillions like Seychelles and new country exhibitors from the Association of Fish Processors and Exporters of Seychelles (AFPES).

The Seychelles pavillion is a collaboration between the Ministry of Fisheries and the Blue Economy, Seychelles Fishing Authority (SFA), Seychelles Investment Board (SIB) and AFPES.

The Seafood Expo Global is a platform where one can meet qualified buyers with strong purchasing power worldwide and is regarded as one of the trade events that allows the fostering and growing of business in the global seafood market.

Exhibiting at the Seafood Expo Global will allow Seychelles processors to advertise themselves in front of top seafood buyers eager to network with companies.

It acts as a platform that connects with attendees from retail and food service industries and network with wholesalers, distributers, importers and exporters which helps facilitating doing business in the global seafood industry.
