A service to reduce pressure from the Seychelles health care system

‘’Our service is a premium one designed to take pressure off the Seychelles health care system. As Covid-19 starts to decline, Seychelles needs a fresh, new and reliable medical service. ‘Doctor 24:7’ will take the pressure off the Seychelles health system by allowing patients to be treated in the comfort of their home or hotel day or night, seven days a week.

By using fully qualified doctors and nurses we provide a first class service 24:7.  The service is targeting visitors to Seychelles so that the Seychelles public clinics and hospitals are not burdened with tourists thus delaying healthcare provisions for Seychellois. Visitors to Seychelles are normally covered by international health insurances and are able to be reimbursed for our services,” Mr Etzin highlighted.

He added that Seychellois who wish to use this premium medical service, the SMS will have a subsidised local rate for Seychellois and GOP holders.

The price for home visits by a nurse and doctor starts at just R1000.

If any medication or further tests are required this will be at an additional cost.  Full details can be found at www.Doctor247.sc

“So when you get sick unexpectedly, we're only a phone call away.  If you need to be seen in under 60 minutes at your home, hotel or office just call us on +248 2575899 and receive on site treatment and comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.  Alternatively for less urgent appointments our doctor and nurse team will be with you in under 4 hours,” Mr Etzin added.

He went on to note that based on the clinical assessment for further clinical evaluation, the doctor may advise patients on certain laboratory investigations. Also based on your clinical assessment, immediate treatment may or may not be required. Any additional investigations and treatment costs will be explained to the patients during the doctor’s visit for their consent.

“The SMS has worked hand in hand with the Public Health Authority to ensure that our service was fully compliant with the stringent health care regulations in Seychelles,” Mr Etzin noted.
