Auspitious’ new release, ‘Cry’, knocks Daniel’s ‘Lakle’ off Number 1 spot

After occupying the number one spot for 19 weeks, ‘Lakle’ has been knocked to fifth place on the SBC Paradise FM Chart Attack, leaving the top spot for new release ‘Cry’ by Auspitious.

The reggae tune, which has been on the chart for seven weeks, occupied the second spot two weeks ago. It features on his latest album ‘Segonn Natir’ released late last year.

Jahkim’s ‘Ankor Enn Fwa’ has also made remarkable progress, climbing four spots from fifth place two weeks ago to second spot last week, after spending only two weeks on the chart.

There is no movement for ‘Survive’ by ‘Spesyalis’ as it retained its third spot last week, ahead of Humble Man with ‘Solo’, in fourth spot. The song entered the chart two weeks ago in ninth position.

‘Lakle’ sat mid-table ahead of another tune by Jahkim, entitled ‘Yer swar’ which went down two spots from the previous week from fourth to sixth place. The song has been on the chart for six weeks. Whereas ‘Sa Enn’ by Shane, lost one spot from position number six to seven, knocking ‘In Love’ by Dan Ft Lil J from number 7 to position 8 from the previous week.

After dominating the chart, Daniel is slowly losing spots - ‘Drive’ which has spent 35 weeks on the chart was still losing ground last week from eight spot to number 9, whereas ‘Zistans’, which has spent 30 weeks on the chart, remained in tenth spot.

The weekly Paradise FM Chart Attack, sponsored by Inter Island Boats Ltd, is aired on Sunday afternoon after listeners are invited to cast their votes throughout the week.
