Former President James A Michel has sent a message of condolence to the family of the late Justice Jacques Hodoul.

In his message, the former President paid tribute to the qualities of Jacques Hodoul and his contributions to Seychelles, saying that they worked closely as colleagues in government and that he always respected the latter’s integrity, his principles and his intellectual rigour.

“The same principles of integrity, honesty and moral rectitude informed his tenure as a judge of the Court of Appeal, on which he left a lasting influence,” former President Michel added.

Mr Michel’s message ended with words of comfort to the Hodoul family, taking inspiration from Jacques Hodoul’s legacy which will live on.
