Angela Servina appointed CEO of Town and Country Planning Authority

President Wavel Ramkalawan yesterday announced the appointment of Angela Servina as the new chief executive (CEO) of the Town & Country Planning Authority.

Ms Servina holds a first class degree in Geography from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa.

She began her professional career at the Planning Authority on February 1, 2010 as acting senior planning officer in the strategic and Land Use Planning Unit.  In 2012, she was promoted to the post of senior planning officer.

In August 2020, she became the principal planning officer and line supervisor, in the Development & Policy Planning Unit. A position she has held until her appointment as the new CEO. 

Ms Servina has also been serving as a member of the Planning Authority Management since 2012, and since 2010 as secretary to the board. She has had 11 years of continued service with the Town & Country Planning Authority.

Ms Servina’s appointment took effect on February 1, 2021.
