Covid-19 cases update 119 cases recorded in four days |10 February 2021
One hundred and nineteen (119) new cases of Covid-19 were recorded since the last update bringing the total number of cases recorded in Seychelles to 1,695.
Of the new cases, 85 are from samples taken on February 8, nine from February 7, nine from February 6 and 16 from February 5.
Seventeen (17) cases ‒ four foreigners and 13 Seychellois ‒ met discharge criteria yesterday and have been discharged into convalescence.
Everyone is advised to continue practice the different measures to stop the spread of Covid-19. Keep interactions to immediate households (the persons you live with) only and to not gather in crowds. Other measures to follow:
• Wear a mask in public places and where physical distancing cannot be maintained
• Practise hand hygiene regularly
• Avoid gatherings and crowds
• Avoid sharing objects
• Practise physical distancing of more than 1 metre.
