Mervin Aglae brings cheer to commuters |24 December 2020
The regular commuters using the Victoria Bus Terminal were pleasantly surprised yesterday while waiting for their ride home! As of 2pm, Antoinette Dodin accompanied by John Antat, Rosealette Dodin and Phabian Dodin were entertaining the public with some wonderful songs.
The singers will also be present today at the Victoria Bus Terminal from 2pm to 5.30pm.
This was all possible because of the good gesture of Mervin Aglae, himself a driver at SPTC for the last 17 years.
“This year Christmas and the festive season is different and many people are stressed. I wanted to bring some joy and ‘joie de vivre’ to the commuters and bring the festive ambiance at the terminal. I asked for a space and electricity from the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) and here we go.”
Mr Aglae sponsored the whole event and he said that “we all have to look after the welfare of each other and any gesture is valuable.”
