Absa Bank mobile banking app now available for free download on Huawei AppGallery |23 November 2020

Absa Bank Seychelles has announced that the Absa Mobile Banking App is now available for free download on the Huawei AppGallery.

This is in addition to the Absa Mobile Banking App still being available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store, meaning Absa’s Mobile Banking App is now available for free download on three of the most popular mobile app stores.

Absa’s Mobile Banking App allows customers and clients to do banking on the go, including viewing account balances, make one-off payments or saving as beneficiaries, making transfers, buying prepaid airtime, data or electricity for yourself or anyone else, as well as a range of other transactions – without having to set foot in an Absa branch.

Huawei owners can now access several Apps, including Absa’s Mobile Banking App, on the manufacturer’s own store called AppGallery.

Research by ICT research company IDC shows that Huawei was the most popular global device maker as of the second quarter of 2020, shipping some 55.8 million smartphones during this period. Although Huawei has historically run on the Android platform, it has been growing its own AppGallery with the Absa Mobile Banking App now being available for free download.
