Gospel music concert to raise funds for the work of the Seychelles Bible Society |21 November 2020

The Seychelles Bible Society, in association with various Church choirs, Christian groups and artistes, will present a spiritual concert of gospel music and songs to raise funds for the work of the Bible Society.

The Bible Society has embarked on community-based projects with the aim of reaching our youths and vulnerable people in our society through projects such as trauma healing, drugs and substance abuse, outreach to children in orphanages and special homes among others. Among our projects that we have is the recording of the New Testament in Kreol Seselwa which will be used in outreach programmes by our Christian Churches.

The theme for the concert is ‘The Power of Hope in Jesus Christ’.

The concert will take place on Sunday November 29, 2020 starting at 3pm at St Paul’s Cathedral in Victoria and will include the participation of choirs from the following Churches: Anglican, Roman Catholic, Seventh-Day Adventist, Pentecostal Assembly as well as other Christian groups and well-known artistes, such as Jean Ally and Jones Camille.

The Bible Society is inviting members of the public to come and enjoy the concert and to contribute generously towards the collection which will be taken during the event.

COME ONE, COME ALL – TO PARTICIPATE JOYFULLY AND GIVE GENEROUSLY TO A VERY NOBLE AND WORTHY CAUSE!

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are being requested to wear a mask and apply the guidelines of the department of Health at all times.
