Tourist couple test positive for Covid-19 on fifth day PCR |22 October 2020

A couple who arrived in the country on October 16, 2020 have tested positive for Covid-19 following the routine fifth day polymerase chain reaction (PCR) screening, prior to leaving their transit hotel establishment.

They were both residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Following their test results, they have been transferred to the isolation treatment and care facility at the Family Hospital, Persévérance.
