Vijay case mentioned in Constitutional Court |08 October 2020

The Vijay case was filed and mentioned yesterday morning in the Constitutional Court before Judge Dodin and Judge Pillay (Judge Andre was unable to attend).

Lawyer Bernard Georges filed this request back in August to have the whole case re-heard in Seychelles courts however it was put on hold due to the case that took place in the Court of Appeal. EEEL through their lawyer Mary Madeleine, and the government of Seychelles through Chinnasamy Jayaraj (Attorney General representative) will have their objections and replies heard before the Constitutional Court on October 20 at 9am before a decision is made to go ahead with the hearings or not.
