Health authorities investigate death of 46-year-old man at health facility |30 September 2020

A 46-year-old man who was working at Kempinski passed away in the early hours of yesterday shortly after arriving to the Anse Royale Hospital in critical condition with respiratory distress.

He became unwell on Monday afternoon and sought medical attention.

He collapsed and arrested upon arrival to the health centre and resuscitation attempts were not successful.

A PCR test conducted 4 days ago at the hotel where he worked was negative for Covid-19.

The Public Health Authority has done repeat testing and a post-mortem will be conducted following the results.
