Two more drug suspects released from police custody by order of Magistrate Court |12 September 2020

Two men were ordered to be released, without any condition, from police custody after they appeared before the Magistrate Court on Thursday September 10, 2020.

These two male suspects – a 29-year-old senior stock control assistant and a 26-year-old fisherman – were both arrested on Wednesday September 9, 2020, for drug offences in their resident district, Bel Ombre, during an operation by officers of the Anti-Narcotics Bureau (ANB) within the Seychelles Police Force.

They were in possession of approximately 170 grammes of suspected cannabis resin (hashish) along with a digital scale.

This case is being investigated and the suspects are expected to reappear before the court as the case progresses.
