Seychelles International Airways’ maiden flight postponed |11 September 2020

The first provisional flight of Ocean Bird Aviation Limited trading under the name of Seychelles International Airways has been postponed, a communiqué from Seychelles Airways has said.

The flight, which was expected to land at Seychelles International Airport at 0930h yesterday, has been postponed due to the changing Covid-19 situation in Europe, according to the communiqué.

“Effectively, some personnel forming part of our team, including Carol Nalletamby, the director of our sister company Euro- Africa, who were to arrive on the flight have been re-routed on other carriers, and were expected to start arriving as of yesterday,” says the communiqué.

“The flight will be effected as soon as the new requirements set by the health authorities are in place and a new schedule confirmed,” concludes the communiqué.
