Air Seychelles announces dates of special flights to key Indian cities |16 July 2020

Air Seychelles yesterday announced that as from next week the airline will start to operate special passenger flights from Seychelles to India, providing Indian citizens the opportunity to return home.

The flights set to take place between July 20 and 30, will be operated to three cities across India including Chennai, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

To book these flights, passengers are encouraged to email reservation@airseychelles.comor contact +248 4391000for more information. Note, only Indian citizens holding a valid passport will be allowed to fly from Seychelles to these three destinations.

As part of the preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19, all passengers will need to wear their own masks when at the airport and on board the aircraft at all times. Passengers will also need to follow strict guidelines during check-in, boarding, in-flight and upon disembarkation.

As passengers will not be allowed to travel on the flights from India to Seychelles, the returning sectors will be all-based cargo operations.

All flights will be subject to the approval of the government at each destination including regulatory approval as well as that of the health authorities.
