Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa has started welcoming guests back to the exclusive 5-star resort on the stunning island of Silhouette since June 12.

During an extensive period of lockdown, due to COVID-19 precautions, the team at Labriz took the opportunity to transform a great experience to a flawless one, by refreshing an array of resort facilities, cleaning up areas of Silhouette Island and undertook renovations across an array of guest villas. As the Seychelles has been declared a COVID-free country, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, the only resort on Silhouette, makes the ideal place to enjoy a post-lockdown break, with exceptional service, warm weather, stunning landscapes, sparkling seas and boundless possibilities for exploration

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is just a 15-minute helicopter transfer, or a 40-minute boat ride via Bel Ombre Jetty, with private boats upon request. Hilton Labriz is wonderfully secluded, a true luxury haven from everyday life. Since the beginning of lockdown in Seychelles, the 200-strong team at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa have been working to refresh a multitude of areas of the resort as well as clean up the beaches and ocean that surround the beautiful setting of this world-class resort. Additionally, the team has between them completed 1,433 Hilton University courses since the beginning of lockdown on March 27, 2020, fostering employee progression and encouraging exceptional service for guests.

Around the resort the refresh of facilities includes full retiling of the stunning main pool area, renovations to the main bridge that crosses the lagoon. Lo Brizan Restaurant has been totally renovated providing a stunning new setting for guests to enjoy a variety of light snacks and live entertainment, while brand new bar, the Lo Brizan Beach Lounge, features swing chairs providing an authentic and relaxing Seychellois experience. To date the resort (led by the front office team) has made the 200,000 bricks used to re-lay paths across the entire resort.

The Silver Surf boat, available to guests for exciting marine excursions and for transportation between Mahé island and Silhouette island, has undergone a total interior and exterior refurbishment. Elsewhere on the island the resort chefs have been working to expand the existing organic garden; adding further organic produce that will be used in the resort restaurants once guests return. Currently Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa harvests over 100 kilogrammes of fresh produce every week from these gardens.

New decking, fencing, pergolas and interiors have been installed across all premium villas. The two-bedroom family villa has been refurbished with a new roof, new deck, refreshed pool tiles, new privacy fencing, personal yoga area alongside modernised interiors and fresh furniture.

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is also set to premiere 10 brand new garden oasis villas, each of these beautiful villas comprise a spacious bedroom and private plunge pool and are nestled among the lush vegetation of Silhouette Island and bordered by soft verdant lawns.

At 88 square metres, each garden oasis villa is expansively designed, with a contemporary edge and a touch of tropical chic. Outside the wooden sundeck leads out to a private cabana, the ideal spot to take refuge from the sun while the refreshing 15 square metre plunge pool, surrounded by tropical jungle, this private outdoor haven is the perfect place to sip a coffee in the morning or enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon.

To date, construction has been completed on the impressive interconnecting garden villa, easily accommodating a family of eight, which affords an ideal option for families or groups travelling together, offering privacy alongside proximity.

All these renovations and improvements throughout Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, the continuous island and beach clean up efforts of the Hilton Labriz team, along with the implementation of enhanced cleaning procedures across the resort, will ensure that this secluded and exclusive resort will be at its very best when welcoming guests back to its shores.

For residents of Seychelles, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa reopens its doors with special offers. ‘Labriz Staycation’ package that includes half board accommodation at a beachfront villa is available at R5500 per villa per night as well as long stay discounts for stays over three nights, day visit offers and group offers.
