Seychelles Association for Peaceful Reunification of China supports Anti-Secession Law |14 June 2020

A symposium was held to mark the 15th anniversary of the implementation of the Anti-Secession Law in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing China recently.

Fifteen years ago, amid rising escalation caused by secessionist actions of “Taiwan independence” forces, the National People’s Congress initiated the legislation and adopted the Anti-Secession Law in March 2005. The law has played an important role in promoting the peaceful reunification of China and has provided a strong legal backing for maintaining peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits and promoting the cross-Straits relations for the past fifteen years.

The one-China principle is the universal consensus of the international community, and it meets the shared aspiration of the people and constitutes an irresistible trend of the times. No one can stop China’s full reunification and any separatist move will be doomed to fail.

Seychelles Association for Peaceful Reunification of China and all overseas Chinese voice their firm support for the Anti-Secession Law and firm opposition to “Taiwan independence” and outside interference! We are willing to continue to strive for the peaceful reunification of China with the greatest efforts!
