The ministry does not engage in such practice and encourages members of the public to report such incidents to the police.
The m inistry would like to reiterate to the public that housing applications are collected, submitted, and processed at the Customer Services Centre, Independence House Ground Floor. The Home Savings Scheme (HSS) is an existing scheme that serves as the personal contribution of an applicant towards his/her future Home. The contribution is done monthly and applicants receive a receipt for all payments.
