‘No church services and activities until further notice,’ says Anglican diocese |02 April 2020

The Anglican diocese of Seychelles has said that it shall not be able to have any activities in church until it receives the green light from the Public Health Authority.

In a communiqué released yesterday, Archbishop James Wong Yin Song writes:

“In our last communiqué, we informed you that there will be no church services and activities until Palm Sunday. Unfortunately, we shall not be able to have any activities in church until we receive the green light from the Public Health Authority. Our Holy Eucharist services on Sundays and other services during Holy Week will be broadcasted on SBC 3 and TeleSesel and Radyo Sesel.

“As a family at home, do read your Bible and pray together and do not forget your appointment with the whole world at 12 noon, when you join your brothers and sisters in praying the Lord’s Prayer. Keep on washing your hands thoroughly, keep the social distancing and stay at home.

“Together for His glory,”

The Most Revd James Wong Yin Song

Archbishop of the Anglican Church of the Indian Ocean
