Air Seychelles has announced that following the increase in oil prices globally, the airline has revised its fuel surcharge for travel between Mahé and Praslin.

Effective Wednesday January 15, 2020, Seychellois passport holders and expatriates holding a gainful occupation permit (GOP) booking their tickets in advance for travel between Mahé and Praslin will see an increase in their ticket prices from R550 to R600.

For last minute purchases, one day prior to departure or on the day of travel, the rate of R700 will apply (previously R650). For senior citizens of Seychelles (age 63 and above) the rate will be R440.

Residents who have already purchased tickets before January 15, 2020, set to travel between Mahé and Praslin at a later date are advised that their bookings will remain unchanged.

For further ease of travel residents are invited to book their tickets via www.airseychelles.com and to check-in online 24 hours up to just 60 minutes prior to departure.

For last minute purchase residents can also visit the Air Seychelles reservation and ticketing counters located at the Domestic Terminal of the Seychelles International Airport as well as at the Iles des Palmes Airport on Praslin between 8am and 5pm. Note that only card payment is accepted at both facilities.
