Outgoing Russian ambassador pays farewell call on NA Speaker |09 January 2020

Vladimir Belous, the outgoing ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Seychelles, paid a farewell call on the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nicholas Prea yesterday morning.

During their meeting, Ambassador Belous and Speaker Prea discussed the ongoing commitment between Russia and Seychelles to continue enhancing and strengthening their bilateral and parliamentary relations.

Speaker Prea thanked the ambassador for his support throughout his six-year tenure and expressed the hope that the current parliamentary exchanges and cooperation continue.

The meeting was attended by the deputy clerk of the National Assembly Tania Isaac.

Ambassador Belous also paid a courtesy call on the leader of the opposition, Wavel Ramkalawan and he will be meeting with the leader of government business, Charles de Commarmond in the coming week.
