SPTC reviews bus services for public holidays

The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) has revised its public holiday bus services and this will take effect from December 25, 2019.

Services will not be affected up to around 12pm, however, from thereon commuters will notice amendments to bus timings which include changes in bus frequency on most routes.

During public holidays, all SPTC services will depart Victoria Bus Terminal and Outer Depots (Baie Lazare and Port Launay) at 5pm.

The objective is to reduce unproductive trips, an exercise that SPTC started in January 2019 when it introduced a new bus timetable.

As customary, SPTC has effective December 16 introduced additional bus services through a festive season timetable to meet demand due to increase in commuter displacement. These services will last until January 7, 2020.

Commuters can access both timetables on SPTC website and other social media platforms. Hard copies of the timetable are also available at SPTC administration office.
