Gospel music concert to raise funds for Seychelles Bible Society |30 November 2019

The Seychelles Bible Society, in association with various church choirs, Christian groups and artistes, will present a spiritual concert of gospel music and songs to raise funds for the work of the Bible Society.

The Bible Society is now embarking on community-based projects with the aim of reaching our youths and vulnerable people in our society through projects such as trauma healing, drugs and substance abuse among other social ills. We have started work on producing an audio of the New Testament in Kreol Seselwa which will be available soon.

The theme for the concert is ‘Our Walk With Jesus, Our Friend And Saviour’.

The concert will take place tomorrow, Sunday December 1, 2019 starting at 3pm at the St Paul’s Cathedral in Victoria and will include the involvement of choirs from the following churches: Anglican, Roman Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, Pentecostal Assembly as well as other Christian groups and well known artistes, such as Jean Ally and Jones Camille.

The Bible Society is inviting members of the public to come and enjoy the concert and to contribute generously towards the collection which will be taken during the event.

Come one, come all – to participate joyfully and give generously to a very noble and worthy cause.

There will be available on display the Bible Society’s publications, Bibles (in Kreol Seselwa, English, French and Spanish), Christian-related books, devotionals, book of prayers for adults and children and various other books by popular Christian authors before and after the concert, which will also be on sale.
