Pointe Larue schools close on account of heavy rains |19 October 2019

In view of flooding at the primary and secondary schools of Pointe Larue due to the recent heavy rains, the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development took the decision to close the schools yesterday to clear the premises.

The decision was taken to ensure safety of students and staff.

The ministry has said that all endeavours will be taken to ensure that the schools resume as normal, as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and has thanked all affected parties for their understanding.
