Vice-President Meriton receives Ghanaian HC |21 August 2019

The high commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Seychelles, George Ayisi Boateng, yesterday called on Vice-President Vincent Meriton, in his capacity as the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Vice-President Meriton took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to the high commissioner, upon the launch of the ‘Association of Ghanaians living in the Seychelles’ on August 17, 2019. The association aims to provide support to the local Ghanaian community while organising cultural activities for the group.

In their discussions, both Vice-President Meriton and High Commissioner Boateng reiterated their appreciation of the cooperation between Seychelles and Ghana, especially in the education sector.
