Man remanded for trafficking in heroin, hashish and herbal cannabis |20 August 2019

The Magistrate Court has remanded for 14 days a 28-year-old unemployed Seychellois male of St Louis for the offence of intent to traffic and trafficking in a controlled drug.

The man was arrested by officers of the Anti-Narcotics Bureau (ANB) of the Seychelles Police Force on August 14,2019 during an operation which they conducted at Les Mamelles.

The man was found in possession of approximately 40 grammes of heroin, 160 grammes of herbal cannabis and 165 grammes of hashish.

Also found in his possession during his arrest was a large sum of Seychelles rupees with several drug related utensils which were all seized together with the drugs for this case.

He will reappear before the court on August 30, 2019.
