Mayor of Victoria condoles with Mancham family

The newly appointed Mayor of Victoria David Andre has extended his “deepest condolences” to the Mancham family following the demise of Sir James Richard Mancham, First President of the Republic of Seychelles.

“Mr Mancham and his family have contributed tremendously in the life of Victoria and just recently he has made a number of pertinent suggestions on how to further beautify our capital and ensure that ‘it comes out with a big smile'. I certainly share his philosophy that ‘there is a song for each and every occasion and that there is no time for envy, jealousy and /or evil conspiracy’, writes Mr Andre. 

“He will be remembered as an ambassador of peace, both here in Seychelles and abroad. May his soul rest in peace,” concludes the Mayor’s message.
