Damienne Morel’s murder case |25 November 2015

I had nothing to do with the Damienne Morel murder case,’ says Justin

“I was never in one way or another involved in the Damienne Morel murder case either as an accused, suspect or witness,” Justin has said.

He adds that he was never issued with a summon to appear before the court to give any evidence.

Mr Justin, whom we have decided not to publish his surname, notes that he was shocked and confused to see that his name was publicly mentioned in the Seychelles NATION article titled ‘Gerard Hoareau not guilty’ which was published on November 19, 2015.

Seychelles NATION apologises to Mr Justin for any inconvenience this may have caused him, but would like to insist that his name features in the final ruling made by Chief Justice Mathilda Twomey when she upheld the submission of no case to answer made by the defence counsel to set free Gerard Hoareau who had been accused of the brutal murder of Damienne Morel.

Ms Morel was brutally murdered in her house at La Retraite exactly a year ago.
