Chinese Pagoda lottery - Steve Cesar wins brand new Suzuki Swift |21 September 2015
Steve Cesar is the grand winner of the lottery organised by the Chinese Association of Seychelles to help raise funds for the ongoing construction of the Chinese pagoda on Benezet Street.
As star prize, he has received a brand new hatchback Suzuki Swift. The car which costs R260,000 has been sponsored by Kim Koon Motors. Mr Cesar was however not present at the prize-giving ceremony at the Suzuki show room in the Dekk House at Providence on Saturday afternoon.
The first prize, a return ticket to any Air Seychelles destination sponsored by the national airline and R3,000 cash offered by Long Wah Pty Ltd, has been won by Robert Azemia of Pointe Larue.
M. Padayachy of Anse Royale has won second prize – a return ticket to Hong Kong and R2,000 cash sponsored by Arc-en-ciel and Victoria Sports Centre. The third prize, a Panasonic 42-inch TV screen from Kim Koon, has been won by Joashua Dine, also of Anse Royale.

13th: DVD player and Hi Fi speakers - Shadi Renaud, Sans Soucis
14th: R2,000 cash - Leslie Adrienne, Au Cap
15th: Panasonic microwave oven - Daniel Gonthier, Anse Faure
The other sponsors of the lottery which the organisers say has raised around R550,000 were: Island Motors Company Ltd, Cheong Kong Travel, Bluesky Trading, Dang Kow Pty Ltd, Tyre on Wheels, Lee Van Hoi Hissen Pty Ltd, David Low Yoke, Alain Leong Pon, East Traders, F&M Boutique and Robert Chong Seng.
