2nd India Day photo competition launched |29 August 2015

The Indian Association of Seychelles has launched its 2nd photo competition entitled ‘Incredible India in Paradise’ to coincide with the second Seychelles India Day celebrations next month.

The competition aims to portray the beauty of India and Seychelles in every aspect by showcasing people, culture, food, music, dance, among others.

All photos must have been taken between August 25, 2015 and September 25, 2015.

Deadline for submission is September 25.

The competition is open to all professionals and amateurs regardless of age, sex or religion.

All photos should be original and must not have been previously displayed or exhibited and to which the entrants hold all applicable rights.

All photos must be submitted on CD or DVD with the entrant’s name, age and address with a brief description or sent by email to seychellesindiaday@gmail.com
Entry forms can be obtained through the same email address or by contacting the committee on 2501002/20501054.

With regard to legal responsibility, every entrant should guarantee that the authorisation of any parent or legal guardian of the subject has been duly obtained and the Seychelles India Day Committee will not be responsible for repercussions of any image submitted in the competition.

The committee’s decision is final. The subject must be non-controversial for example divers with corals, holding turtles or any harmful activities caused to the environment.

There is no entry fee and a person can submit five photos from any category.

The committee will also take care of all printing of the photos.
