New integrated system for better service at brewery |31 July 2015

Seychelles Breweries Ltd (SBL) brought together all its partners in a workshop yesterday to sensitise them on the new transition to the Africa Business Services Centre (ABSC).

The aim is to ensure the best and effective relationship with all the company’s partners through corporate citizenship with suppliers.

The half-day workshop, held at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino, was attended by the SAP (System and Product) admin logistic coordinator Jean Barbe, the change manager Evelyn Ngika, the financial controller Sitraka Ramantsoa and the procurement and logistic manager Ridvan Prosper.

Ms Ngika said that the workshop will bring the SBL closer to its partners.

“This workshop will provide a better understanding of the new integrated system that the company will implement starting from August 10. It will provide a much better service and atmosphere to create a win-win situation for us and our partners. Each partner will have more traceability and formal information. The SAP application will centralise information in one integrated system. It will improve access to information. The main goal here is to have clarity in this new process,” said Ms Ngika.

“This new implementation of SAP at the company and transition of back office activities to the ABSC will ensure the most excellent collaborative connection with all SBL partners, and it will be a joint relentless fight against corruption and focus on transparency to ensure a win-win situation for both parties,” she added.

From August 10 the SBL will be providing the following services in collaboration with the ABSC for all its partners:

  • Payment of all your invoices per agreed payment terms
  • Single dedicated point of contact for your invoice and payment related queries.
  • Provision of real time information.

To deliver these and many other benefits, SBL requests that all its partners comply with the following guidelines in their invoice:

  • Ensure that the description of the goods or services is exactly the same as that on the purchase order;
  • The ordering and pricing unit should be exactly the same as that on the purchase order;
  • Ensure the purchase order number is clearly displayed on the invoice;
  • Ensure that the currency and the SBL address on the invoice is exactly the same as that on the purchase order;
  • Ensure that all invoices are sent to Seychelles Breweries Ltd, O’Brien House, PO Box 273, Le Rocher, Mahe, Seychelles or via email to Seybrewwaddress.Support@diageo.com
  • Ensure that all tax details are clearly stated on the invoice such as VAT registration number, tax identification number, etc;
  • If your prices are to be detailed for justification purposes, please enclose the details as an annex to the invoice.
    • Do not give invoices to individuals within the business.
