Police Communique |28 March 2015

The police have reported that a 28-year-old fisherman of Anse Boileau who was arrested on March 23, 2015 into a case of house breaking and stealing from dwelling house appeared before the Magistrate Court on March 24, 2015 and has been remanded until April 2 when he will re-appear before the court.
This incident happened on March 17, 2015 during the day where he stole R10, 000, some jewellery, gold and silver.

The police have reported that a 71-year-old man of Plaisance equally appeared before the court  on March 26, 2015 into a case of sexual assault on his granddaughter where he has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
This incident was reported to the police on August 5, 2014.

The police have reported that Jeffrey Clothilde aged 59 years old of La Gogue was found motionless at the Waterfront Park opposite Oceangate House yesterday morning.
This incident was reported to the police at around 1030hrs. He was examined by the doctor and certified dead at 1200hrs.
The police have started an investigation in this matter to determine the exact cause of death.
