Jazz Festival Soirée, an occasion not to be missed |26 February 2015

Jazz music lovers and members of the public who want to chill out, meet friends in a relaxing atmosphere after a week’s work while listening to wonderful jazz music, this is a great opportunity not to be missed.

Organisers Seychelles in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism & Culture is hosting a Jazz Festival Soirée at the Espace Building tomorrow Friday February 27 starting at 7pm.  

The event is an initiative of Organisers Seychelles in its mission to promote jazz music and inspire people to become more passionate about this genre of music.

Among the local jazz artists and groups who have confirmed they will be performing at the concert are Metis, Soulmates, Felix Lawen, Jerry  Souris, Intimate Sound Duo and Fabquartet.
 
Organisers Seychelles’ executive director and events manager Neddy Nourice said they have come up with  different types of packages to meet the demands of sponsors for this memorable soirée.  Among the different packages are platinum, gold and silver.

“We are very happy with contributions received from our valuable sponsors and for these we express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude,” Ms Nourrice said.
But she noted that members of the public will have free entrance to the show.

Ms Nourice said representatives from different tourism establishments will also be attending the event thus allowing  them to see some local jazz band in action which may  be a great opportunity for them to select any of them for future functions.

The evening is expected to end with a jam session and also a souvenir photo session on stage with the performers.
