Sylvianne Constance wins Honda CR-V in Regatta 2014 lottery |30 September 2014

Sylvianne Constance is the winner of this year’s Regatta lottery star prize – a brand new Honda CR-V.
Ms Constance’s ticket number is 113873.

The draw took place towards the close of the Regatta event on Sunday evening at the usual Beau Vallon site.

In total there were 21 prizes on offer but unfortunately the winners of the 6th and 10th prizes are unknown.
The other winners are Serge Savy, Clarissa Belle, Josie Michaud Payet, Douane Jean Louis, Felix Matombe, Anne Desire, Fabrice Asha, Aria Bristol, Justin Francois, Yannick Duval, Reine Raoul (who won two prizes), Darren Kilindo, Kamila Dodo, Veronique Arnephy, Rolin Nolin, Jason Bodamier and Mario Dubel.


Despite the rains that fell during the weekend, especially Sunday, that did not stop members of the public to come in droves to the activities organised by the Round Table Seychelles (RTS) as part of this year’s Regatta festival.

Commenting on the lottery sales, RTS president Vincent Lee Kimkoon said: “This year we sold 123,500 tickets which is also a record for the RTS.”
The winners will receive their prizes in a ceremony later.

This year’s Regatta was organised under the theme ‘Healthy living against cancer’ and featured a lot of sport competitions.

One activity which is always an attraction is climbing a greasy pole to reach a prize (usually cash) at the top. However, no one managed to reach the top this year to claim the prize.

People who came to the event were entertained with live shows hosted by DJ Ezy D and DMC TaJ as well as performances by Tania, Jahkim and other artists.
