Kia Motors launched in Seychelles |30 January 2006

It is with great enthusiasm that car lovers have welcomed Excel Motors as the local agent for Kia Motors in Seychelles.

The company presented its fleet of latest and most popular Kia models such as Cerato, Sportage and Sorento in a ceremony marked by the speech of Mr Kevin Chung, the president of Kia Motors for the region of Africa and the Middle East.

Mr Chung said the motor company emphasised on quality and over the next three years Kia will be launching 15 new models to cater for the need and taste of both the old and the young.

Seychelles is the 154th country where Kia motors are being distributed.  
 
Managing director Tony Payet said since Excel Motors was awarded the distributorship for Kia some eight months ago, the vehicles have been well received on the market and that orders and sales have picked up.

Over 30 Kia models of cars have been imported until now and Mr Payet said Excel Motors is optimistic that it would do well, as the prices are very competitive compared with other brands.
